About Me
My name is Van Anh Nguyen. I will be a sophomore in 2011-2012. I am a cavalier at Santiago High School. I am also a AVID student, with a few clubs and sport. I am in French club, AVID club, and Environmental! My favorite sport is tennis. However, I also do love hockey and track. I hope to excel in my education and sports. I plan to go to college for awhile. For Graphic Designs, I am at Garden Grove High school. My partner is Martin Pham, he is so helpful. I chose this class because I wanted my credits and it seemed like a fun choice. I also wish to use this at some point in my life.

Personality
I am a perfectionist and neat freak from time to time. I am usually quiet in class and also with friends. The other times I'll be fun and outgoing My personality is strange for a young person. I mostly keep things organized and almost never postpone anything. I want it done so then I can move on. There are some unusual times that I will just be random. So I am unknown at times. Overall I am a high, "square" person. However, I like to be involved and be more outgoing . During high school at Santiago I joined many things just to feel like a normal student. So I can be a "social butterfly" from time to time.
Hobbies
I am a gamer! My favorite games are: Grandia Three, Kingdom Hearts, and Sims. My other hobbies are reading, drawing, and organizing stuff. I read books that are either horror or fantasy. I am not specific about books. I mostly only draw when I have to. For example, school projects or as a present. If there is nothing to do left , I would organize anything. So if I ever run out of things to do during work I can organize my desk . I used to play an instrument, the violin. Any free time I have left in my day is to be on Aim, hang out, or keep in touch with people. "Busy" person I am.

Education/Work Experience
My education is pretty small since I am only a sophomore. I am still a guppy in the big ocean. However, I like most of my subjects and I am able to exceed at it. My favorite subjects are History, and English . I have no work experience ! That won't help me in life. I am planning to have a summer job in my Junior year's summer. Somewhere around the shopping places , for example Forever 21. If I am good at school and independent ;I am pretty sure I can survive out there! Fingers crossed! I also learned many things from Tennis. Always trying your best is one of the things that will lead you to success. That makes me feel weightless since I always worry if I am not enough for something.
Technology
I do not know many things about computers. I mostly only use some application on my computer. I do know how to use illustrator, photoshop, and windows movie maker. But thanks to Graphic Design, I know way more. I am only doing this so later I can use this skill later. Most computer things related usually frustrate me because it takes forever for me to fix or learn it. Pretty ironic that I barely know anything and I live in the age of technology. I do love how technology is progressing so fast My main interest to do this was to someday be able to use all these affect and make a short movie.
Graphic Design
I like this class so far. It is very interesting. I cannot wait until to use this later in my life and show how I am those smart people with computers. The outcome of certain projects astonishes me, because I was actually able to make this. I never knew it would be something that is just from Adobe. Someday I want to try to become a special effects person. All of this is really interesting, however, I wonder if I have the patience to learn all the steps.

Goals
My goals for short-term is to try to get at least a 4.0 each year in high school. So far I finished my freshman year and I did good that year. I really want to be able to go to the top ten colleges around the world. I also really want to go out-of-state. My top colleges are MIT, Harvard, Oxford, and Stanford. The goals are pretty high, so I may be getting my hopes up. However, be a nice fellow and wish me luck! My other short-terms is to be great at tennis. I don't need to win everything, I just need to try my best. So if it wasn't enough, I know that at least I tried. My long-term goal is to live a successful life.
